The 1925 English Bar is an eclectic space of beauty, refinement, and good taste, born from Mrs. Timiș’s passion for places, traditions, and stories gathered throughout her real and imagined journeys. Every corner of this bar reflects a carefully crafted vision of classic elegance, where time seems to flow more slowly, dedicated to conversation, reflection, and authentic pleasure.
The name “1925” pays tribute to the year the mansion was built, marking the beginning of a family history founded on hospitality, respect, and continuity. This space invites guests to savor the present moment, in an atmosphere that celebrates the art of living beautifully—the sweetness of doing nothing.
Gentlemen’s Corner
Designed with solid oak wood paneling and hand-carved elements, the 1925 English Bar impresses with an authentic Anglo-Saxon décor, inspired by early 20th-century British private clubs. Chesterfield armchairs and sofas, classic-lined furniture, and English-style decorations create a sophisticated, discreet, and deeply comfortable ambiance.
The fine fabric wallpaper, created by artist Melvyn Buckley, depicts a 1930s golf scene and adds a distinctive artistic touch to the space. The custom-designed carpet, produced by Stevens and Graham—renowned makers of Scottish tartan carpets—enhances the atmosphere with a sense of nobility and authenticity.
Furniture pieces crafted from deer antlers and rare materials, produced by a company in Edinburgh, further emphasize the bar’s exclusive character and attention to unique details.
